CBOA

The 2015 CBOA Fall Conference was held on Tuesday, September 15th. at Republic National Distributing Company from 9:00am until 1:00pm.

The morning started with the annual "State of the Industry" report, a CBOA Tradition, and ended with CBOA President, Heather Frayer (Mirage Sports Bar) sharing a few timely jokes. In between everyone learned valuable information about marijuana's impact on our industry, presented by Jim Smith; the new Federally mandated ACA reporting requirements, presented by Jon Orenstein; psychology behind dealing with unruly patrons, by Dr. J. Franklin Schults and more.

Chad Michael George, President of Colorado's Bartenders Guild, introduced the COBG and invited CBOA members to participate with them on the many events they hold. Brett Moore, CBOA Lobbyist spoke on the Legislative results, and what to look for in the upcoming session.

Attendees enjoyed tastings on new products, and had an opportunity to visit with our approved Vendors. Lunch catered by one of our own members, Rocky Mountain Catering. was enjoyed by all.

It was 4 hours of food, fun, and valuable information.
